A Forgery of Fate

I started this book last year in December and I just got around to finishing it. I was a little harsh with my judgment the first time around, I didn't really like the male lead and I let that dictate how I felt about the story. Now that I've completed it, it's not as bad as I thought. It's about a girl who has to do a marriage of convenience with a dragon. I felt as if the relationship needed more time to develop. There wasn't enough moments between them for their romantic scenes to feel satisfactory and so I was kind of like, 'okay?', when they suddenly got all affectionate. It just felt like there was a chunk of their interactions missing. Honestly for the entire ending in general, it was way too rushed and it seemed like the author was just trying to get the story over with.I would give it a 3.5/5! It was enjoyable, the writing was nice and I really the interactions between Tru and her family. I am getting a little tired of the whole eldest daughter thing but considering it's a fantasy genre I'm not going to be too critical of it. I'm thinking of looking into other works by Lim!
